imageWe help companies to identify sources of finance including funds for business start-up, marketing, business development and R&D. Regional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can also register and get free access to our online GRANTnet service - containing over 4000 different sources of grants and investments.

We also work closely with regional businesses to help develop R&D proposals and secure funding from European and national sources including EU Framework Programme Seven (FP7), BERR Grant for R&D and UK TSB Collaborative R&D funds.

FP7 Risk Sharing Finance Facility (RSFF)

EIBThe European Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB) have joined forces to set up the Risk Sharing Finance Facility.

The RSFF cabe used to fund high-risk but crediworthy FP7, JTI and ETP Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) projects

Joint Technology Initiatives (JTIs)

Under FP7, JTIs are legal entities that have been introduced to realise Public-Private Partnerships in research at European level.

Each JTI seeks to release the Strategic Research Agendas of a limited number of European Technology Platforms (ETPs).

UK Technology Strategy Board - Collaborative R&D

TSBThe Technology Strategy Board publish's regular competitions for funding of collaborative R&D projects. Over 600 projects have been supported with a combined business and Government investment in excess of £1 billion.
