Innovate in the North East of England

The Enterprise Europe Network team for the North East is presently developing an online portal promoting regional:

• Core capabilities for designing and developing next-generation technologies, processes, products and services
• State-of-the-art R&D facilities and infrastructure
• High-tech start-up and spin-out companies
• Profiles of collaborative R&D Framework Programme and TSB Technology Programme projects
• Local news, reports and events relating to emerging technologies and innovation

The portal will be developed over the next few months with a first phase going live during May 2008. It will be focused on the key regional sectors: digital, life sciences, energy and process industries
